I'm new to diesels, my 2006 F250 has the engine light on. I ran the dtc's on my flashpaq and it shows P0677 glow plug #7 circuite failure. Do glow plugs go bad? The truck has 115,000 mi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am a diesel tech and it is really unlikely. I have worked on diesels for over 4 years now and never replaced a glowplug on a 6.0 More than likely the module on the right valve cover has failed. You can buy one and its basic plug and play, no programming required.
