I am wondering what people may have done to sound/heatproof the cab. My 1989 F150 Supercab Lariat XLT is fairly noisy inside, for exapmle from wind and vibration and engine. I am considering adding insulation to the firewall, back cab wall, floors, doors, etc. Any suggestions?

 

There's a lot of products out there, Lmc truck carries some;dynamat works great.

 

look on ebay for a product called r-blox it is just as good as dynomat at like 1/8th the price, i have half of my cab done and i cant wait to finish it!

 

Is it a material you glue on or is it a coating?

 

it has a tar backing, it comes with a mini roller, u just peel off the plastic and set it on and roll otu the air bubbles, if done right it will make u think your ridin in a brand new lincoln haha
