Sticky manual transmissions -- Let's force a recall!!!!!!

I have a fairly new 2001 F-150 and the Mazda 5-speed gear synchronizer is sticking and making it darn near impossible to shift to first. I took it to the dealer and was told that there was nothing that FORD can do -- they admitted that there was a problem, they even went as far as to suggest turning off the vehicle and restarting it when the shifting became too stiff.

That, by the way, is pretty lame advice. I'd like to see Mr. Ford shut off his truck while on the freeway. I don't think so.

I'm tired of being told to shut-up and accept that my new Ford truck has a serious transmission flaw that I cannot do anything about -- except continue to make my monthly payments to Ford, of course.

I'm so upset about this that I'm going to take this to any media outlet who will listen and report this to any transportation agency that will let me. This is an outrage and we shouldn't let this stand without a fight.
