HEY HOW ARE YA I HAVE A F350 WITH A 351W AND I WAS WONDERING THE SAME THING. BUT I HAVE SOME INFO FOR YA I CALLED FORD AND THEY SAID THE 97 AND 96 INTAKES ON THE STOCK TRUCKS 351W ARE BETTER FLOWING THAN THE 93-95 LIGHTNING GT 40 INTAKES ALSO IT WOULD BE A MAJOR WORK INVOLVING THE LINES AND CABLES IT WOULD BE A BITCH TO CUSTOM MAKE THESE THE BEST THING TO DO AND FOR THE MONEY ITS PRETTY CLOSE AND THE PERFORMANCE IS DEFINATELY THERE IS TO BUY A 6LB BLOWER HONEST I DID THIS AND WITH THAT AND EXHAUST AND TWEAKIN THE TIMIN I RUN GOOD TIMES AT THE TRACK AND IT WEIGHS ALMOST 6000LBS

Lightning Engine Conversion
Heads, cam, intake, fuel rails, and computer are different from a regular F-150 with a 351. Everything else is right off the parts rack. Not a big deal to do. I know of several people with Broncos and F-150s that have made the conversion.
If you take a look at the classifieds section you may find an engine or two. They show up there on occasion, usually in the $1000 range for decent examples.
