1994 steering and suspension questions

I have a 1994 f-150 4wd. Around 5 years ago I had new ball joints, axle joints, and pretty much all of the steering components replaced. I got all the parts for free when someone I know closed down an auto parts store. All the parts were rockwell. I knew the shocks were bad and never changed them, which I believe caused my ball joints to go to crap on me already.

I also now have a dry axle joint that doesn't have a grease zirk, so that needs to be changed. Last time I had it looked at was because it was leaking grease out where the lockouts meet the hub, I was told that I was looking at needing new spindles fairly soon. I'll assume I'll need those too. Also, the bushings on the arms that go towards the rear of the pickup and attach to the frame seem to be shot and one actually looks like it moving up and down. While I'm in there, I'm sure that new wheel bearings are probably something to change out along with the other axle joints.

I know I'm looking at a pretty large amount of cash to just buy all the parts needed and am wondering how tough of a job it would be to change everything myself. I have access to a shop that I can use for however long it would take me to change everything. I also have a friend who is the head mechanic at the ford dealership here that can help me out if I need any special tools, or if I get stuck somewhere. I'd love to just pay someone to do it, but by the time I paid for parts and labor I'd have more into the pickup than its worth.

I'd also like some reccomendations on what brand of parts to get, so I don't have to mess with any of this again. Places to get the parts for a decent price would be great as well. I'm assuming for the axle joints and ball joints, Moog would probabaly be the best brand to get, but I have no idea what to get for the rest that I'd need. Any suggestions would be great.
