I know the door sticker says 65lbs for the 20"s, but it rides like a tow motor. I can see that if your pulling a load, but most (75)% of my driving is not pulling. I even went to a dealership on a sunday and checked the tires on their trucks and everyone of them had 55lbs. in them. And yes, I know to check them cold. What do most of you use in your tires?
i'm running 65lbs in the frount and 55lbs in the rear I usto run 80lbs allaround but notised that the center of the tires were warning more than the outsides.
Crazy001, my 08 Lariat CC F-250 sticker with 20" rims, the door sticker says 65. Just wondering why yours say 75? Thank you all, I was considering the 65 front, 55 rear this next time around, with nitrogen as I'm putting on new tires and they're going to be Michelins. Thanks
my 06 f250 came with continental 17's from ford with 80 psi rating, and at 80 psi they ride rough and bounce on rough roads more than my 37 inch off-road tires with the same rating at a lower maximum psi. my 37's give a nicer "feel" on the road.
My door sticker says 55 front, 70 rear. This is for 16" tires. I run 55-60 all the way around when empty and I get a pretty decent ride and have had excellent tire wear.
