Lightning block, anything special?

I'm not really familiar with the pushrod Lightning engine other than it's a warmed-up 5.8, could anyone tell me if the block alone is anything different than that in a regular fuel-injected 351W truck? I was in on some speculation over at the Vintage Mustang Forum about the merits of various Windsor blocks for early Mustang swaps. Ford offered a Lightning shortblock, was there anything uniquely Lightning about it? Thanks guys.
