ac compressor always on (i think?)

today my truck was blowing cold air in any position 85 degrees out. i think the clutch is always engaging. does this make any sense and how do i figure out why it is happening?

My first thought is if i unplug the wires and it still blows cold it is the clutch, if it is warm it is the wiring/controls. I guess that would depend if it was normaly open or closed though??

Any help guys and gals?????

Sounds like your blend door is not working which leads me to believe you have a vacuum leak in the system. That's just my opinion.

The compressor is supposed to be on in every position except vent only, floor heat only, & off. If it's on in those positions, something strange is going on that needs trouble-shooting.

so it should be on when vent and floor combo is being used?
