Hey everyone, I leave for Germany next Saturday for 14 days. My question is, is there anything i should do to my truck before i leave to make sure it runs alright when i get home? Should i have a neighbor start is every couple of days or is it not worth it? Should i add anything to the fuel or just leave it alone?
You may just consider unhooking your batteries, incase of a slight drain. That way in two weeks it the batteries are for sure to be ok. Or put a float charger on them while your away. Thats all I would do.

I love my float charger's (yes I have 3) they are on my toys all the time so when it comes time to go play they are all fully charged ready to go. I dont know how I got by all these years without them. I probably bought 4x the batteries I needed to by not having a float charger on them.
I vote for unhooking the batteries right now, calling in to work and saying your truck broke down and you can't make it in, and leaving early.
Otherwise, don't forget to lock the doors when you leave, and ask a neighbor to keep an eye on things. Stop mail service, newspaper delivery, etc. Have fun.
I have a '99 with 29,000 miles on it.I use it from May-Sept every year.In sept. I back it in the barn unhook it and that's it.In May it starts up just fine.
