Does the dana 44 IFS in the ford f150, have the same parts as the dana 44's found in the jeeps? I am aware that the ford uses reverse rotation gears, but are the carriers the same, I am in need of a carrier and 4.10 gears to put in the front of my 1995 f-150 and i am looking for a used carrier on ebay and all i see are ones from jeeps, will these work, or do i need a reverse rotation carrier??

carriers are all the same, jeep to ford, dodge to chevy. the only differnce is the side gears, but you can take your side gears out of yours and put them in the new one. normal or reverse rotation are the same carrier

 

When I re-geared my 95 half ton I found that the Dana 44 IFS uses a different pinion bearing than the regular Dana 44.
