Well did a few things to my truck in the past few days...
First i redid my tailgate. I cleaned the surface off real good with a wire brush and wire wheel on a drill. Than i sanded it lightly and washed it off good. Than covered it well will rubberized undercoating. The final product came out good i think. Kinda hard to tell from picture, but it looks quite nice.
Than wednesday i finally found the tires i wanted. They are Radar RXS-8's. 235/75/15's. I wanted a bigger size but i had to agree on a price with my mother since she was helping so....
But i am very happy with them. Its like a new truck, rides alot smoother, dont feel bumps and cracks nearly as bad, and it handles better! Very nice tires, and they are also build to be alittle all terrain so if im ever in the mud alittle it should help out.
Lastly i took my truck in to get the exaust finished yesterday. It got done today. It orginally just had dual pipes with the cats and muffler on so it was very loud at all. So i had the guy put on a y pipe and remove the muffler. Its much louder than it was and more importantly it has a good tone to it. Deep rumble in idle and when your rev it its gotta good tone to er!
Overall real happy of the truck right now, just gotta finish my body work and get the paint job! Than its time to take the carb in too consideration!
Ive been in the market for a at home bed liner.. Ive head a lot about those herculiner bed kits.. but i would hate to be stuck with something that just chips off
Do the herculiner if your gonna do it at home. We coated a complete truck with it about 3 years ago and use it for hunting and some mild off roading so it get scratched up alot and in three years of beating the crap out of it it still hasnt chipped or anything.
