Clean MAF w/o removing it

I got a 99 F150 4.6, 4x4 with 81000, is it possible to clean the MAF without removing it. Just spraying the cleaner down tube? One other thing how does one get the looms open to change the spark plug wires with out breaking them? I'm new at this bear with me please

As for the MAF, yes, just spray down the tube and try to hit the thin wire filaments.

The wire looms? a small screwdriver and a little luck

Which tube are you speaking of? Could you attach a picture of this?
Thanks
