I wonder if your neighbor actually had Blue King Ranch, like the picture above.
Because, the 2003 100th Anniversary Heritage Editions only were produced in three color schemes: "Black over Burgundy", "Black over Tan", and "Black over Gray".
From what I have found there were only 15,000 of these produced - I would still like to confirm if it was an equal 5000 of each. 15,000 and even 5,000 of each color is a very limited quantity...
