Nitto Terra Grapplers on stock 18" rims...
Hi all, I'm looking to replace the factory Continentals on my '06 F250 CC Lariat FX4 with some Nitto Terra Grapplers with the stock 18" rims. I'd like to go with a beefier tire and am not sure what to look at, one tire dealer suggested 295/70R18s but seems to me I could go with a 305/65R18? I'm not looking to get too carried away with a too big of tire but just a nice beefy tire on the stock rims ... currents tire size is factory Continental 275/R7018 and I will also be adding a leveling kit, either a 2 or a 2.5" kit.
Any suggestions (pics!) on tires/sizes and leveling kit will be much appreciated, thanks!

Your OEM wheel is 18X8 so you should be able to use the following tire sizes with a 2.5" leveling kit:
Size: LT295/70R18 E
Height: 34.41"
Recommended Wheel Width: 8" - 9.5"
Size: LT325/65R18
Height: 34.88"
Recommended Wheel Width: 9" - 12"
Note: This is not an "E" rated tire and you will have ballooning of the tire with the OEM wheel. It may require trimming as well.
Nitto doesn't make a 305/65R18 size but they do make a 305/60R18 but it is 32.44" in height, which is shorter than your current tire. I'd go with the LT295/75R18 E size.

Thanks Andrew,
I gotta wear these 33s out so I can go ahead with 35s and regear it. Right now the Fusion in the reflection is getting the attention "and money" the place I found in Texas is a 1hr drive from my new station and 33mpg is way better than 13mpg. Flowmaster, Spectre custom build intake and a short throw shifter, my god I think I drive a ricer, at least it has a blue oval on the grill.

Eh, she earned it. She was the one that typed the winning code in the door in Tampa. I was strangely enough 5 miles offshore from where I will now be stationed cleaning up after IKE. I'll be moving there July 1st, my current unit's going to squeeze one more patrol out of me. I'm looking forward to Texas it'll be good to be back in my home state.
To the OP, sorry about the hijack. I think you'll be happy with the Nittos, mine are holding up well.

Well, apparently Nitto does make this tire but it most not be a popular size (I don't know why). ATD only has 12 units on order between their Orlando and Jacksonville, FL locations. You may need to ask you local tire dealer to order them for you...
