So your ride has to be at least 9'6" to use that car wash? Or do you have to have 9'6" clearance between the top of your vehicle and the top of the door? Maybe something inside there hangs down nine and a half feet.

It means the MINIMUM clearance available is 9 foot 6 inches.

I see that at drive-thrus, and other places. I might have seen road signs like that in various places, like going under a bridge that has an arch, and is not level.

i guess . they always make signs weird like, begin road work , am i supposed to get out and help, or end road work, like theyre protesting. or how about pedestrian signs , were they dont have necks.
