hey guys i was wondering if any of you know if these plugs{ngk iridiums} would be good in my 2003 ford f150 with the 4.6 im coming up to 100 thousand miles and need to change plugs . i have and intake and exhaust on truck also if that makes a difference .. if these plugs arent good do you know of any that are .. thanks daniel

 

Get the original Ford Motorcraft plugs, best you can buy for your truck. The NGKs are a good plug for a Honda or Toyota, but they don't meet Ford's specifications. I think Autolite makes a great iridium that would also meet Ford's specs, but do you really need iridium, when double platinum will do? The only difference you will notice between an iridium plug vs platinum is longevity, but by the time the iridiums wear out, they will also possibly be seized in the head, kinda defeating the point.
