I have a 2001 F-150 supercrew 4x4 with @ 120000 miles that has a bad miss at first acceleration and again @ 50 mph. I changed the IAC a few months ago any suggestions would be great.

 

Welcome to FTE BIG BEE! Is the check engine light on? When was the last time that the plugs were changed? Fuel filter? Air filter?

 

No the check engine light is not on, plugs,fuel filter, coil packs were all changed when I changed the iac, air filter has been a while

 

maybe just try some electric conductive gel on the coil pacs's spings that connect to the spark plug. i had a misfire and did this and it went away. took me less than 10mins to do all of them. did u use motorcraft plugs?

 

Thanks for the info guys. The check engine light came on yesterday, had it checked and the #2 cylinder was misfiring, I changed the coil pack and plug. It runs like a champ. Thanks again
