Exclamation Looking for E-Brake assembly/parts 1963 dump truck

Hey everybody,

I am new here so sorry if it takes me a little while. I am searching for a e-brake assembly for my 1963 Ford dump truck (292 motor) (mason dump). It has duel wheels in rear.

I am looking for a schematic, picture, diagram of this assembly. I live in CT, I would like to know where I can buy parts to purchase, in CT, or online????

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!

Big Daddy D

What series is the truck? F350, F500, F600? I know it's not a TT!

Not sure? Post the first three digits of the VIN.

F35 = F350.

How much of the system do you need? This is a drum type emergency brake. Do you just need the brake shoes only, or?

There are two different systems, depending on which transmission you have, both were used 1961/72 on F350 thru F850's.

You are going to have to look at the exploded view of the entire setup.

I have no way to scan and post parts catalog pics.

Some of the parts may be found, but I doubt you'll be able to find everything.

You can buy a CD of the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog from hipoparts for around $22.00.

Or..you can call Green Sales Co. in Cincinnati OH (513-732-3304), and ask them to copy the parts catalog illustration and email or fax it to you.

It used to be a free service...but I dunno if that's the case...or not today.

btw: You want this parts catalog: 1957/63 FORD TRUCK PARTS CATALOG (available on a CD from hipoparts.com). Not the 1964/72 version.

The e-brake pics will be the same, but some other stuff may not be.
