I am a self employed Powersports tech, and also fabricate and weld stuff up.
My specialty is building mountain sleds, and hopping up 2 strokes....But i do it all.
I sometimes work on cars and trucks to, but not too much, usually just if its an existing customer that already has me fixing say their motorbike, or sled say, and wants their cage worked on also by me.

This is true, especially for those of us that post all over the forums.
Some people stay just in their own home state or province threads, or maybe say just one area of interest on the boards.
That would make it easier, but I find it fun to invade as many threads as humanly possible.
The people are interesting in every area of FTE.
And it would be a shame to miss out on the diversity, by just staying in say the BC thread for me.

Well I hope you have more work than I do..

The computer industry is to saturated.. Some are hacks and the people feel they are getting a better tech if they bring it to the Geek squad, but they are just paying more for nothing..

I have a few customers that have me doing other work for them than just computers, cause they know I am good with everything technical..

I usually goto other states and bother them also, but sometimes I like to just stay with a few to keep my sanity...
