Smile Why I'm happy with my 6.0

Road trip this last weekend, average speed around 75 mph, recorded 18.2 MPG - pretty happy with that (no trailer ofcourse)

Truck now has almost 55,000 miles on it and zero issues, plus, even with 5,000 miles since the last oil change, the Rotella syn is still a nice golden color - I'm pretty happy with that too

I just wish those annoying automated phone calls about my factory warranty about to run out would quit!!! Just because its an 07, doesn't mean it doesn't get driven!

I'm with 'ya on that. Took a trip a week ago and averaged 68 MPH and 20.3 MPG. 34,300 miles on her now and hard to beat that 6.0 grin when you start it up.

While I have had issues with my truck they were taken care of early on. No issues since and it has never left me stranded. Pulls like a beast. I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Wow... I am jealous...

I get 16.5 - 17mpg on the highway with no trailer.

My truck is running 100% perfect since new in 2003.

I now have +145,000 trouble-free miles on her and hope to drive another 145,000 miles.

Glad I'm not the only one who gets those damn things.... sheesh!

Press them on who they are, and they hang up. Ask for a supervisor, and they hang up. It took me three calls before I could get them to do ANYTHING but hang up. And even then I couldn't get any answers from them....

Put your phone# in the "DO NOT CALL" list and it will quit.

Actually, I got another one last night and decided it was time to harass some poor soul, but this message actually had an option to close the file ....so hopefully that will end that, or it just opened another can of worms....

ask them to marry you or something. then try to sell them some Hot Shot oil additive .....I hear it will make your truck run forever and get 40mpg, and 200+ extra horse power......then ask them who they voted for......then ask them if they own a gun, are they a member of the NRA, then are they gay. the hows the weather where they are. Ask they what thier gay lover does for a living.....them make the statement that you thing telephone salesmen are the lowest form of life, do they know any telephone salesmen?

You still have me beat. Even though my mileage has improved since all my mods, my best fillup was 16.4.

My mileage (80% city and 20%hwy) ranges between 15mpg - 15.2mpg. Wish it was better.... but then again, I drive an Excursion and it is like driving a "brick with wheels"... so I can't complain to much.

Actually, rarely pay attention to the mpg....although it suprises most when they see how far our Ex will go compared to theirs...
would drive a much smaller car if mpg were my concern...

The Ex keeps my sweet wife SAFE and above the fray for most fender benders so THAT is the only important thing to me...

of course the obamination may dictate that I can't keep my wife safe,
but then I'd have another problem with him.... he's already weighed my daughter down with a debt her AND her children will never be able to repay !

Glad to hear you've had good experiences! People fuss at me about my X being excessively large, unnecessary, poor fuel economy, and so on. I'd like to see them haul a queen size bedroom set in one trip, or at all, with their sub-compacts. Or a couch and love seat, or a full set of patio furnature. or a 27' travel trailer. Long live the excessively large and unnecessary I say!

That's nothing new, we have been saddled with debt for the next few generations since the Carter years.

This is what happens when people feel the need to the placate to the lowest common denominator.
