'06 F-250, Supercharged Turbo Underboost?

I was pulling my traiiler into the wind and my engine light came on. I had it plugged in and the read-out was "supercharged turbo is underboost". Can anyone help me on this. Does this mean my turbo is going out, do I need a new air filter or do I need to change my fuel filter? My truck seems to be running fine.
Also, if it is the turbo is going out, what is the warranty on the turbo?
Thanks for the help.

Brad

It would help to see the actual code that was thrown. If it was a P2262 or P2263, then the thread below may help you.

These codes are for a Turbo (or) Super Charger Boost Pressure issue.

I have been battling the low/underboost code myself. I dropped it off yesterday and will give them a day ir 2 to see whats up with it. I suspect I will be getting a new turbo or atleast the veins cleaned. I think the Unison ring is rusted pretty good on mine though. It feels like its way under powered and sounds louder than it usually does. The turbo also moans now and doesnt whistle. I will let everyone know whats up when I get it back, but I know for sure that there is something going on.

My first clue was the EGT's were up, and it seemed to be over boosting at light throttle.

I'll keep ya posted,

Sarge
