Having problems with this 5.4L misfiring. Have taken it to two mechanics and, between the two, they have replaced 6 coils. Last mechanic replaced 5 coils and three days after the work, the engine started misfiring again. Wondering if it wasn't the coils to begin with, but something else like fuel injectors or PT Control Module. Any others had the same problem?

You need to take it to Autozone or most any national chain of parts house and let then scan the computer for free. Write down the codes and post them here. We can point you in the right direction from there.
