ID trans need help

I have an 86 Ranger with a 2.9 and auto trans I found a tag on the tail shaft that has these numbers on it 887GT DDA 1, I am going to be rebuilding this unit body and paint, but I know that this trans was pushing fluid out on long trips (50 miles or so) but around town not so much maybe a quart per week. I think it was the front seal but not sure.

For the next question, where can I get the blow up and parts list, clutches bands and seals. the other question would concern the fluid loss, I found the under side very wet and after separation of the gear box and power plant, I also found fluid fresh looking inside the bell housing, the torque converter has some ridges I can feel with my finger nails, should I cut my nails or be concerned?
