E450 Headlight Switch
Had the replace the headlight switch on a 2008 e450.
The new switch does not activate the headlights and parking lights at the same time. You pull the rod right out and just the headlights come on.
If you pull the actuator rod almost all the way and there is some grey area where both come on and the alarm is sounded when the door is open.
But there is still a little bit of play left and when you pull it out all the way the headlights come on and the park lights go out and the alarm stops.
Any thoughts?
I just can't stand the thought of calling the dealer and saying the part is crap.
