Axle code and match?

I snagged the door jamb info and the axle tag info and want to confirm if they match. The VIN decoder doesn't help much, and I couldn't find anything else in our toolbox up top to help with this, so here's what I have:

Axle code on door: 38

Dana 60 tag: 3.73 E0TA FD 603943-3

If I am reading these right, I should have an open differential with a 3.73 ring and pinion set in it. I recognize the E0TA FD as some kind of Ford engineering number, but what's the last part? A serial number for the axle?

Found this via a search of a rather large PDF on this iPad mini. Took only a second or two because it was on Page 40 of a 3000+ page document. Had it been later in the doc it might have taken ten minutes.

Ya know, these are already out here, Gary.

I thought this was listed in the Sticky someplace (or subforums) but maybe I never did it....

There is a lot tucked away in various places. But I knew where it was in the MPC on this iPad and wanted to prove that the MPC can work on a phone or tablet. Knowing that the axle code chart is early in the Text section I found it in a couple of seconds, did a screen shot, and attached it - far faster than I could have found it on FTE. But, had the axle codes been on Page 3000 I would have given up before finding it. You really have to have extra time if you want to find the stuff at the end.

Btw, my new MPC is due in on Wednesday. I'll be anxious to see if it is better than the versions we have. Having the full index/bookmarks as they say it has and the search function is a significant blessing.

That's Dana's Bill Of Material # for that particular axle.

Dana Holding Corporation - The Expert Axle Bill of Material

A search on that BOM brings up the axle details, & gives repair kit #'s etc.

Yours is the same axle as mine, but with the ratio I want!
