Joe,
It appears from the following webpage that the T98 and T18 share
the same dimensions.

I currently have a T18 sitting in my garage. If you email me
various dimensions on your T98, I can compare them to my T18
and tell you how it looks. My T18 came from a 1972 F100, 2wd.
Of course, you can prowl your local boneyard with your T98
dimensions in hand and see what you can find.

trans swap t98 to t18
Hey Bill, can you tell me how long the tailshaft is on your T-18? I have one that I pulled from the salvage yard awile ago and was going to use it to replace a worn out NP435 but the tailhousing is way longer than the one on my 435 and was wondering if that is normal. Thanks Craig.
