I'd take it to a well known tire shop. We have one around here that is dang good. They do tires, alignments, etc. Dont know if this matters or not. But i can be driving down the road take my hands off the wheel and it'll drive a straight line. Or i can put the wheel straight and drive a straight line.

The tech should do a road test after the alignment. This should be done to insure proper handling and if the steering wheel is off center. If there is a problem the vehicle should be brought back in and corrected. That is what you pay for. Many times the vehicle is either taken off of the rack and parked, or a road test is performed and an off center steering wheel is ignored. For what an alignment cost and what is involved to do one, you deserve better service than your getting.

I sure wouldnt pay for an alignment and then take it somewhere else and pay again to get it right. Make the tech who did it pay for not checking after the repair. That is how they learn, not by ignoring it

I whole hardely agree with that.

New REAR break pads and rotors at 40K, but the fronts were OK? Figuring $100.00 for the oil and filter service and the break light swith and labor for that, I would say you got bs'd to the tune of $900.00

After you get the steering fixed right, I would never darken that service department door again. Ask around and find a good reputable and fair independent garage. There out there, they want to do right for the customer so they can stay in buisness.

btw, Monsta, do you blink if someone hits you with a hammer?
