hydro boosters

while we should all understand that hydrogen boosters are considering tampering with emissions and provide a huge risk for oneself and others sharing the road I still have to ask has anyone tried using one on a ford truck and what the results of using this had on there truck are?

Btw hyrdogen boosters also called hydroxide boosters produce hyrdogen oxygen mix by passing electric currents through water with a catalist.

NOTE: this is just knowledge being passed on and i am highly advising no one attempt to produce or manufacture such an item as it can be dangerous as hyrdogen is a highly explosive gas and highly explosive gas + gasoline= severe injury or death.

heh had to include the disclosure

Your not the first to post or ask a question about hydrogen. Use the search function, titles only, and you will find pages of discussions and users.

Enjoy and Welcome to FTE

1) Electrolysis to produce hydrogen is the most inefficient method known.

2) Not enough hydrogen is produced to even put a dent in how much air a diesel uses.

3) There was a very recent discussion about this on another forum where someone was experimenting with a hydrogen kit on a Powerstroke. So far he has seen zero increase in mileage.

Those are pretty much the conclusions seen with HHO kits. These kits are finally being debunked by consumer advocates and 3rd party testing. Popular Mechanics recently completed testing of HHO kits and found that they won't gain you anything.
