Unhappy Anyone have work available in marketing?

Hey all, sorry if this post is not the best, but my old lady just got laid off from the Santa Ana Federal Crdeit Union. That place is going down the tubes due to **** poor management..... Anyways, she has been the Marketing manager there, and has over 15 years experience in the field, worked with Boeing/McDonnell Douglass FCU, Boot Barn, and other places. She also has her Masters. So again I apologize for asking, but if you need or know of anyone that needs full, part time, or even consulting work please let me know. Once I get back from Iraq and I lose the danger and other bonus pay, it's gonna be REAL tight. Thanks everyone.

Sorry to hear, at the very least she has those things to her advantage. Unfortunately a lot of people with a lot of experience and qualifications are being passed on for people that are willing to work for less. As long as she can keep working it will be much easier for her to find another job so tell her to take any offers that she gets, at least temporarily

Thanks for the well wishes. I know it's bad all over, and when it happens to you it really sucks. Thankfully she's willing to work for less as long as she can do part time, so we don't have to pay for day car after school. Worst case scenario, I'll just have to get a weekend job. I come from a family where I didn't see my Dad a whole lot because he either worked long hours at one job, or he was working 2 jobs. I'd hate to do the same to my kids, but in the long run they'd understand. At least I'm real good with my hands, I can fix damn near anything that has moving parts or electricity running through it, also considering getting certified as a personal security guy and get a CCL so I can escort VIPS on the weekend . I guess time will tell.

I spoke to a friend and he said if she has some experience in computers she can put an aplicatio at Newegg. They aren't really hiring right now but if she has the skills they can fit her in. They need more profesional people.
