stock 5.4 to supercharged lightning 5.4

I was wondering what it would take to swap my 5.4 to a lightning 5.4. I have a 99 f150 4x4 with 162000 miles on it. Starting to burn oil and theres no telling how much more abuse the motor will take.
How involved is it to swap in a supercharged 5.4. I was just trying to price it out, and found a complete motor with 60*** miles on it for 3k.
I know the fuel pump has to be changed, gauges added, and the common sense stuff, but I'm sure there is more stuff involved.
What am i overlooking? Will any changes need to be done with the computer, intake, etc? Any help would be great.

You need the complete motor with wiring harness, intake, and all the other bolt-on stuff.

Oh, and don't forget, you probably have a 4R70W tranny. The Lightning has the 4R100/E4OD like the Superduty. And the Lightning's PCM will need to talk to the 4R100 tranny. So you need the tranny.

And who knows if the transfer case is the same. Anyone?

Ok, so it would probably be easier to buy a bolt on kit rather than swapping engines...

Yeah, that's about right

BUT - would the 4R70W hold up? Would you need more cooling? Lots of things to ponder.

I am considering the same swap from a 2001 lightning into a 2000 excursion that is currently equipped with a 5.4L? Any thoughts on this possibility?
