does anyone know anything about ptc fuel filters? i found them for $24 on ebay for the 6.o..........i am not sure if they r safe to use ...........they say it meets all motorcraft specifications..........any info would be appreciated, thanks

 

I tried to find a PTC 6.0L filter on ebay and couldn't. Just filters for the 7.3.

However, if it's not either the Motorcraft or Racor patented filter, you don't want it.

 

Here is a thread that was started a while back when a couple of members bought some PTC filters. Definately worth a read before you think of buying. The ebay links are no longer valid, but they were for PTC filters...

thanks for the good info...................i will steer clear of those china junk filters and just pay extra for motorcraft and racor.
