cat 6 cable ok for tc lockup

Will a cat 6 cable be ok to use to wire the switches required to do the tc lockup mod and the ebpv exhaust brake mod? It seams like we are dealing with low amperage that this might work. Thanks

I would go no less then 18awg myself,, When I did mine I used 14 awg.. Something about taking that little wire and going to ground with it bothers me.
