Angry Where to get new fender?

Ok so it was really nice today and i decided to clean up the ol 250. well i get er all nice and shiny and i noticed the fender was a totally different color than the rest of the truck. Its a lot darker. Does anybody know where to find a fender that is dark shadow grey off a wrecked truck or a really good color matching place in washington to reshoot this thing. i have pictures in my gallery and as my sig. Its driving me crazy!!

that's crazy!

Its my guess that it'd be cheaper/easier to pay to get that fender repainted. First you gotta find out what shade of charcoal paint you've got. I know someone around here has a color chart.

either that or they got a good deal on a used fender that was the wrong shade of grey.

If you can figure out what shade of paint you have, a good paint place will be able to order it from Ford and make it match.

Your truck is the dark shadow metallic, same as mine, I think the paint code is CX. I would just have a good body shop repaint the fender and blend the door, paint doesnt always match perfect, which is why everything gets blended now a days . If you were to get a used fender it may not match either, or it might be perfect, its hard to say.

Someone painted the door on my truck before I got it and its alot darker then the rest, looks about like yours....haha.

I would just take it to a body shop and have them re-paint it. They should have a scanner or some system to match the paint from the door. Then have them blend the door and you should be set.

EDIT: Adam you beat me to it.

It will never be the same color even a yr later the color changes. Needs to be blendedso it's not noticeable.
