Do you have ABS brakes? If not, I would assume its the wires for that. Not sure though, my buddy has a 99.5 with the same thing.

It is not for the ABS. I have that plug and ABS. It is two wires if I remember correctly. The lighted running board could be correct. It is fastened toward the lower back side of the fender liner I think. Is ther one on the passenger side?

yes they are on both sides..if there running lights i am going to be pissed...I ran extra wire down for the running lights..someone here told me its for ABS..i have ABS just not up front...
