2009 FTE Ford Truck INTERNATIONAL Online Show and Contest

1) This is the preliminary stage - and will run until about 15 March (longer if we need more entries).

2) To enter is simple: Post a picture of your truck in this thread, tell us a bit about it if you like and where you are at in the world, and you're IN. It's that easy.

3) You and your truck must be outside the fifty states (Continental USA and Hawaii) (***SUBJECT TO CIRCUMSTANCE)

4) It must be (or have been) your truck at the time the pictures were taken.

5) It must be a Ford truck. *Thames and Anglia are Fords, etc...

6) It can be in any condition, have any modifications you like, be brand new or old as the hills.

7) In right about two and a half months, we will hold the semi-finals to narrow the field to ten finalists.

8) You can post as many pictures as you like to show your truck off best.

9) It's recommended you only enter ONE truck. Dividing your own votes can cost you...

10) Upload pictures to your FTE Gallery - it helps a lot!!! (Ask me how I know...)

There will be a ONE YEAR SUPPORTER MEMBERSHIP to FTE awarded to the first place finalist.

As of RIGHT NOW - THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO ENTRIES!!!

My GOD... Look who jumped right the way out there!

"IT BEGINS!"

Surely the rest of the guys in Australia won't let that stand without a challenger posting up?

*Nasty looking little beastie. I bet it eats Holdens alive... But I did say in another thread that I thought older trucks may have an advantage in the overall results. It remains to find out, doesn't it? You can never tell what might happen.

(?) Has anyone heard from Encho lately?

Have you got a link to it?

Wait a minute -you're from Texas.

This show is for trucks outside the USA:
"3) You and your truck must be outside the fifty states (Continental USA and Hawaii) (***SUBJECT TO CIRCUMSTANCE)"

Further clarification: NON United States Ford trucks, such as exports or those built under license in other countries.

How is your Chapter doing, and did you think I was just messing with you?
I'm an old timer as such is at FTE and care quite a bit about everyone out there.

I have noiticed that a lot of people have just dropped out or gone away.

I for one am frankly curious about other trucks over there. We have no idea, and are not told about them. That stuff can only come from you, and I have had enough of struggling to make these online shows happen.

THIS ONE will make or break it. Honestly.

Why should I go on doing this if it is like pulling teeth? It isn't my job.

I've done this for the pure sweet pleasure of seeing new trucks and far away places I could not afford to go to.

THIS IS THE LAST TRY.

Now - are you in or out?

You either stand up for your trucks, or whom are you

Wins what? This chapter was his genesis here.

To what end the death or dust and bones of outside of conus interest?

I think it still needs exploration and sponsorship.

66 F100 Down Under

Hi. I just had a look around beyond the 61-66 forum and thought I'd say hi. I'm not sure how to put a pic in the thread (I read somewhere I need more than 25 posts). Anyway, my gallery has pics of my 66. Cheers.

G'day mate! I wouldn't worry it over too much - stick around and we'll liven the old place up ourselfs if we've got to.

In fact, if we post up back and forth you will have your 25 in no time at all.

Adrian pops in once in a while - he's another aussie. I'm a yank from about the middle of the USA (Memphis Tennessee) and sitting up tonight having a coupla cold ones

This thread here was a bit of old business i started at the tail end of my fame with a run of online truck shows we did that really were something special to see, but I had no idea the aussie gang had kind of fallen off. A pity that... You lot have the Falcon UTE's over there, and we've got nothing like it in the states (honestly)

Sort of a hybrid of a ford truck and a mustang - but with great big hairy stones.... We used to have Ranchero's, but they've all become classics that are hard to find nowadays.

STICK AROUND! I've been looking for this place to liven up!

Hi Greywolf. Good to hear from you. Funny you mention the Falcon utes, I had an 07 one in today for it's 1st oil change. (Owner forgot and left it till 24,000KM) Being on straight LPG the oil stays pretty clean which is a good thing. In my spare moments I try to get a bit done on the couple of 66 trucks here. I had a 70 Ranchero in a while back, put that one on LPG. In recent times the Aus Govt will tip in $2000 to the cost of a LPG converson. One per person every 3 years. So it was crazy for a while but has slowed a bit with regular fuel dropping in price a bit. Catch you later. Cheers.
