Wash day

washed my car and truck.. but i only have pics of the truck... friends got the ones of the mustang which ill post up when i get them from her... shes got a better camera than i do which is why i went over there to get her to take them ... plus she washed her stang and got new rims too so its clean as well...

but heres the truck (yes i know not a ford... i wish i had one though... but dont have the $$ for it right now )

i hate the hubcaps on it too... i want the originals back...

heres the clay bar when i cleaned up the stang though...

this was the trunk...

and this was the roof...

rest of the car came off WAAAAAAAAAAAY cleaner than those 2 spots did.. dunno why..

word, so you just rub wax into to make it look that good?

can I just grab a tub of Turtle Wax and attack my Red Truck with a buffing wheel to make it shine? Paint seems good, just dull. . .and I don't want to spend a lot right now

lol mustang uses a combo of stuff... it gets the stuff i get from the dealership for free... (which doesnt give a good shine) and then the subsequent coats are done with Meguiars NXT...

yup ya apply then rub off the excess... buffers just help it go on and off faster really... liquids are good for if your going to use a buffer.. but i prefer the old school paste waxes... the chemicals down seperate like they do with the liquids over time.. biggest thing is to take your time with it too on both styles.. more time ya take the better theyll look..

my trucks paints faded and tons of chips in it.. some places have been touched up with rattle can as well which is part of why i want to repaint it.. bumpers i repainted few months ago.. but theres also a couple places i need to do patch pannels and other things to as well..

well my friends GT should be faster... but im the better driver so i beat her... theyre both pretty much stock... hers has the new rims w/ tires, CAI, chin spoiler and sequential tails.. shes got some new springs & gears too but theyre not on yet... mine.. sequential tails, K&N and modified air box, SFC's, Z-rated performance tires, and ST shifter..
