Finally got a free day, tell me what you think.

Well got a day off and it was good weather. Be wanting to paint the intercooler pipes for a long time. Took the afternoon to paint the pipes, clean all the oil and dirt buildup off the boots and clamps. Just all around sprucing up under the hood. Also did the zoodad mod. Time always flys by way to fast when I am having fun working on the truck. I also found out that the pervious owner put a throttle spacer in the passenger side intercooler-pipe, I didn't know these were available for diesels? Well what do you guys and gals think? Also take a look at the pic of the turbo wheel I know it is dusted a little because I had a cracked intake boot, but does it look bad enough to replace or am I ok?

Sorry for the long post and so many questions.

I'm digging the yellow, nice job.

P.S. Those are called intercooler pipes, not up-pipes. The up-pipes run from the exhaust manifolds up to the back of the turbo.

All I did was take the cover off and masked all around the raised part of the cover. It was a real pain, and I still have to go back with a black paint marker and touch it up.

Does anybody have a comment on the condition of the turbo wheel?

Turbo wheel looks a little beaten up to me, especially around the perimeter edges of the vanes.

To be honest, though, the yellow looks so snazzy that it was hard to pay much attention to the wheel, but it does look like it is definitely in "less than ideal condition".
