March Truck Work
Thought I get this one started for a new month. Thinking about picking up a cheap set of Flowtech headers today to replace my cracked exhaust manifold. Constantly ticking and setting lean codes. I want to get a set of longtubes from Summit but with the dollar's slide, they'd run me about $440 + tax while Flowtech shorties are $269 + tax. Really waffling on this decision...
Because I want to be just like Chris, I'm going to look buy a pillar gauge pod from a kid off of craigslist this afternoon. $40...

Well, change of plans. Apparently, the exhaust leak sound I've got is in fact rod knock. I didn't crack an exhaust manifold on the trip up the Coq. last month, but actually spun a bearing. Took the truck into my exhaust shop for some help tracing the "exhaust leak" and got the bad news. So now I don't know what we're going to do. Tina and I are going to talk it over tonight but its not looking good for old "Solid Gold".

I finally got tired of looking for the rod to drop my spare tire hanger so I made my own. Cost me less than 6 bucks. Not as pretty as the Ford piece but does the trick and the spare is where it should be.
Fixed a bad power connection on my sirius as well.

Well I went and spent some good money on steel today. Enough steel ta get my fabricator to build me a winch bumper forTHE BRONCO.Im pretty confident that this suckers gona out live the truck but thats what ya want. You dont wanna go out and spend $300 on a piece o crap Canadian Tire one that if you put any force or pressure on itll go flying off into the mud.
