Whats it take to run a 7' Meyer snow plow?

I might be trading for a 7' Meyer snow plow for my truck. Just wondering what kinda hardware it takes to run it?
Its got the big bracket with the lights, and what looks like an electric motor that says "Electro Tough" on it, the blade itself has at least 2 hydraulic rams that I can see. Pictures are on my phone and cant see very good.

Here's what it looks like. You can see the blade in the background. Also, it came off of an 80's dodge, if that makes a diff. And, I'd like to mount it in a way that I could have it off or on in a short time, so I'm not driving around in the summer with a snow plow.

Generally, for a plow to work well, you need a 130 amp alternator (give or take), dual batteries, and a 3/4-ton or better front suspension and axle in good shape.

Usually people buy the plow with the appropriate mount for their truck. The plow comes off quickly with a couple pins, but the mount stays put.

It's going on a 90 F350 4x4.I hadn't thought about the alt. Dual batteries (12v right?, not 24v).
I'll be making my own mount or modifying the Dodge mount.

Any suggestions on where to get the 130 amp alt.?
Thanks.

The point of the heavier-duty alternator and dual batteries is that typically plowing is done at lower engine speeds for longer periods of time. The hydraulic pump motor (along with the extra lights, etc.) eventually overwhelms the alternator and starts draining the battery. The second battery (hooked in parallel, so it's 12V) gives you extra reserve capacity while the higher-output alternator won't burn itself out trying to charge two batteries.

When it comes to higher-output alternators, I suppose the internet is your friend.

don`t waste your time with a 7 foot blade it is to narrow for a full size truck.Need at least a 7 '6" blade or when it is turned your wheels will be in the snow.

I plowed for years with a 92 460 with no charging system upgrades. We built a mount for it using 2 receiver hitches so the whole thing would un-pin and slide out. I wish I had pics, but that truck's long gone.
