Welcome to FTE. You're right, the SOTP meter, MPG's and no more ICP codes is enough by itself. We just like to see numbers for comparison so we know how much change to expect if upgrading from a good pump or a medium one.

The MPG's are impressive. We'll have to wait and see what Barney notices on his.

WOW, a 3.3 MPG increase just changing out the HPOP. If that is what people are seeing, put me down for one right now, as long as it will work with my DP-TUNER and get that kind of MPG.

What's wrong Rick. Not happy with that 100 mpg readout on the lie-o-meter anymore?

The first thing I noticed was the truck pulled the camper allot easier and the Egt’s at 65 mph was only 900 deg in my extreme tune and my fuel mileage went from 10.5 before the pump to 13.3 after I changed the pump. That’s almost three more mpg. The only thing that I had changed was the Hpop. Going from the stock pump to the Adrenaline pump made a hell of a difference. I am not worried about the numbers, I just know that the 1211 code went away and the truck runs better thats all that matters to me
But could of had a bad pump/ipr to begin with.
Might have seen gains with a new oem pump/ipr.
Its unknown.
Did the truck have a 15*?

Chris, I'm down to 27.9 MPG right now. . I guess thats what LIVE tuning does for your MPG. From 57.7 to 27.9.

Thanks for the welcome. I run splits stage 1's from swamps. They said splits are oil hoggs. Tony had to reburn my chip for the adrenaline pump. One reason I went with the adrenaline is I heard that some people have had problems with leaks on the dual set-ups. The second is that my truck is not a race truck, so I felt like the money I saved could be spent on something else.

how bad are these pumps to change out. anything tricky? special tools? an average mechanical person be fine swapping this out?
and these pumps work fine without other mods? stock injectors and stuff.

So you ran the pump without the new tune first?
