WAFTE Archived Buy/Sell/Trade ADs
#242
SOLD.
Year: 1979
Make: Ford
Model: F-150
Price: $900
Mileage: 29,278
Color: Beige/Brown/Yellowish
Location: Renton, WA
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: 4 Wheel Drive
Engine: 351M
New stuff:
Edelbrock carburetor (600cfm)
Edelbrock intake manifold
Distributor
Spark plugs and spark plug wires
Radius arm bushings, Offset c-bushings, sway bar bushings
Front bearings
Tie-rod, drag link, center link, stabilizer
(4) 33x12.50x15 All-terrain tires... only a couple hundred miles on these
Bought this as a project truck, and now I am moving to a house with no space for a project vehicle... so I have to sell ASAP. It was running well two years ago when I last drove it... then I had two kids, and no time to finish the bushing replacement project that had it up on stands. That project is done as of this week, and I started it up and it ran ok. The only caveat is that the temperature gauge read high... not sure what is happening there... I don't have time to troubleshoot right now though. If you are interested or have any questions, shoot me a message. I can provide more pictures and/or videos on request, or see some old pics in my gallery here Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - physicsguy11's Album: My First Truck

Looking for a flatbed to go on my 87 F250, or a flatbed to go on my '79 F250. Willing to travel to pick up. 8 foot only for the 79, and 8 or 10 foot for the 87. Prefer if they have stake pockets for wood sides.
Thanks

An FYI for ya. The beds swap between MANY MANY years of Ford Pickups. Pretty sure from brand new all the way back to I don't know early 60's I'd guess. The only thing your going to run into in trying to find a flat bed that will go on is that chassis cab trucks have a different frame. So a flat bed from a truck that was originally a chassis cab won't work.

I have an electric fan assembly that I would like to find a new home for
It was intended for my Ranger but I sold the truck. My understanding is that
is will fit the 2002 Ranger size radiator with little modification.
It's a new unit for a Crown Vic $40 and it's yours I can post the Motorcraft part number
if you need me to.

I have a nice heavy duty diamond plate step bumper for the 66 flareside and also a rear slider window . I'd like to trade both but I really woudl like to trade the back slider for a regular back window as soon as possible. Or if someone has a back window out I'd like to get the pattern and cut one and have it tempered or use laminated safety glass.

Good running ?how many miles , and would you consider trades? Have a rebuilt truck 302 with zero miles with a Weiand 4bbl intake GM style HEI distributor or Duraspark II distributor1966 timing cover but have newer timing covers for newer applications if you need one.Early 70's type 302
