did a little work to the 50 buck truck!!

Earlier this year I got a steal of a truck.......1979 F250 4X4 for 50 bux!!

Well I did a little to it and here are a few before and after shots the front was on the air hoist and under construction but is all done now!!

I swapped out the 79 front for a 77 front grille and lifted it I have a 1971 Linclon 460 for it at the machine shop getting rebuilt thats the next project installing that!!!

I like the camper too BUT there are a few of my friends that think I need to pitch it!! Then I have just another lifted ford!!!!!! I like it B/C it adds character.........I was told by one friend that only old *** guys have campers on their trucks and me at 31 I don't fit the truck.............might have found another 460 for it too!!!!!!!

Sweet truck, Looks good have you had a chance to go mudding with those tires yet i have a set also but haven't played yet just curious as to how they handle? As for the camper hell I'm 24 and id keep it on there if i had one, its cool to be different, and without difference we wouldn't own these trucks, we would all have Z-71's with body lifts thinking we were bad as hell. I can't stand those guys. But sweet ride, Keep us posted you can see mine in my gallery.

Good question, does it have a bed and everything?

Even if it doesn't with some spray insulation, a blow up bed & a propane BBQ its a camper

Hey! I resemble that remark! I'm only 52 (I know, I could be your dad!) Anyway, last fall I had a custom shell made for my truck so I could keep the in-the-bed tool box clean and protect the bed of the truck and take my dogs with me. I also pull a travel trailer so I keep all the extra camping stuff in the tool box. I carpeted the bed over a rubber liner and it could actually be used for a sleeping place, plus since my tires are not factory size I keep the spare in there because it doesn't fit on the carrier under the bed anymore.

Great find and good work so far!
Good luck!
Dak
