Freeing up E Brake

Had that once upon a time (88?) on my 85 250
had to back off the star and pull real hard on drums, replaced e cable on that side (greased cables both sides and to front), lasted 3 months,cabled disintegrated and jammed in housing, same disassembly, removed e brake parts, and have never bought another "car quest part" since. Had same quality ujoints the year before.
ebrakes, either use them regular or ignore them

I soaked all the cables with Pb Plaster and they let up enough to get the drums off. I had to manually back off the shoes. At least she can drive it until I can get new cables.
