I hooked onto the fifth wheel camper and towed it about 40 miles up and down the hills to Westmorland and back. Outside temp is upper 90's and no tranny problems.

I surely hope that was all of the problems, if so, that was an easy fix!

i had a problem with my shifter linkage in my 92 f150 and it wouldn't stay in park which led to an accident where i was ran over (my left leg) i chased it down and then shot it with a .44 mag only succeeded in destroying my new water jug and craftsman tool box lol it gave the truck a curled up back end where it hit a tree so i put a flat bed on it and drove it for 6 more months before my girlfriend ran it out of oil and seized her up..... if only i had known it was that easy of a fix (my cousin showed me why it happened) total slap myself in the face moment

Curtis makes a good suggestion. Also, there is a 6.0 specific forum and they probably have the answers there.

Got My '59 started yesterday, ran it off a gas can. It fired right up after priming, the 223 sounded very good. Just a minor drip from the fuel inlet at the carb, should be an easy fix

Did she put it with the camping gear?
Maybe you could swap it out with your other carb and see if it helps? then sell one of them on ebay for gas money to Colorado?
