I used mine most of the weekend for moving axles/parts into the backyard shed until Matt came over with his super-duper, hydraulic bale-spike flatbed pickup. Took all the grunt work out of the heavy stuff

Then I proceeded to leave my 2WD truck sitting in the backyard and let 5 inches or so of snow dump on it and the backyard. Chugged right out of the backyard with 1/2 bald A/T's with little drama! I like it, I think it's a keeper

I got the Rubi out on the snow last night, short wheel base and super swampers, it does 360's real nice in the middle of the street. However I could launch from a stop sign like nobody's business! While other people would sit there and spin. I just couldn't stop once I got going, or steer. But that is not important anyhow.

I had a blast last night in the church parking lot-- then a little use this morning pulling the van out of my driveway. I also climbed a little snow pile in the alco parking lot with the front tires then backed down :-)

My '79 has been down at Dad's place for a year and a half. He took it into town last week to get the oil changed.....and parted with about $670. Oil change, heater hoses, replumbed one or both (he wasn't sure) fuel tanks. Still needs brake work, he stopped there for now. I think I turned as green as the truck when he told me.

I've got the block heater on a timer that kicks on at about 5:30 am, so it fires right up. It starts pretty easy down into the 20's without the heater. I switched to synthetic oil this Fall and that helped a bunch with starting.

Other than driving my B2 to work, I did nothing to it. I DID however, spot an EB sitting in a field today...Last summer the guy was driving it, now it`s joined the "collection" of vehicles in the back 40. Drooooooolll...

Put in my long-distance drivin', in-dash DVD player in my truck

Now to get the Alpine 4-channel amp hooked up to my new Kicker front speakers, power output on the head-unit is a little low

Then I gotta buy a 10" low-profile Kicker sub to complete the system, but that will probably be later on in the summer.
