I am green with envy over that truck.I like the look of the big tires on the stock steel rims.I also like that it still has all the factory trim on it,it is also cool that it matches your Mustang,Good luck with it nice find.BTW up here in the rusty north east that truck would sell for 6-8 thousand dollars any day.

Nice score.

I just noticed something though. If I understand correctly, you can't have lock out hubs on full time 4wd highboys. There's only one shifter, drivetrain mode (Center Diff Locked) that the truck will even move, and that's not a good idea, and pointless anyway.

Me thinks your truck has been modified, and hopefully the conversion from full time 4wd to part time has been completed. Or don't be surprised when you unlock your hubs and your truck don't go anywhere.

its not a full time 4 wheel drive. It has 2 sticks and locking diffs. was changing the wiper blades and it looks like there were semi lights on the roof at one point....hmmm

Very nice on the locking diffs! Those are $1200 themselves. wow. And the conversion kit for the part time 4wd in the 203 case is around $600 itself if I remember right.

Can you identify the transfer case?

Roof driving lights were an option. My highboy has 'em, I don't really care for 'em, but it's MUCH easier to keep 'em. They're available in nos, repro, and good used.

I was a little worried about my grammer in the highlighted sentence. I should have deleted the word shifter, and stated that there is only one drivetrain mode that the truck will even move with the hubs unlocked, when the differential in the 203 transfer case is locked. Any other drivetrain mode and the front driveshaft just spins.

Highboy's with the 400 are nice because they are easier to convert to 460 power. Search the forum for "Last Highboy"
Something about VIN before or after Y20000.

thanks man I put the stang together myself. started with an 05 GT and went through the whole thing. She's supercharged and putting down just over 500 rwhp through a set of 4.10 gears and MT drag radials. Buddy of mine did the paint in ford d6 screaming yellow with a gold pearl over the top. I dont think there is a single part in that stang I havent had some sort of relationship with...

Painted the front fenders on the beast truck today. Found a yellow at home depot of all places that matches perfectly. will post pics tommorow. I am diggin how it turned out though!!

I love it. I think it worked out perfectly too. the auto paint place wanted 29 bucks a can for matched paint. home depot run cost me $6 for primer and paint. Matched so good you can barely tell. just looks like the front fenders are cleaner than the rest

Looks great. 1 week after you got it and it's got 37" and matching paint. Looks like a great wheeling vehicle. Does it have AC (it's starting to get warm here in AZ)? Have you hit the trails lately?

no AC yet, but definately on the punchlist. I figure I will be good without AC until may or so. if i dont get some AC in there by then I will switch to the stang for my daily until it cools back down. sounds like i got a lifter tap so i am gonna pull the valve covers this weekend.. not i big deal but it will keep me busy i am sure..
