2009 F150 Diesel !!
Copied this from Fordf150.net
"Jalopnik has brought us some great photos of the 2010 (or is it 2009.5?) 4.4L V8 diesel powered F-150. Ford
hasn’t released power ratings, but speculation is that the truck could have up to 350 hp and 450 lb-ft torque.
There’s no doubt the diesel powerplant will provide more power and mileage than a gasser model. To read the full article and see the other photos, go to Jalopnik."
Fill me in here, i dont have enough sources to believe it yet? goto google and type in 2010 F150 Diesel... then goto images.. I clicked the red one...

This program has been turned on and off more than a light switch. Navistar designed a diesel for the F150 and then it got cancelled. Ford had to pay a bunch of money for breaking the contract (which only added fire to the 6.0 warranty fight). Then Ford developed their own diesel but as Senix said, the most recent story is that its on hold again. With all the requirements the EPA is imposing Im not sure that it will ever happen. Truly sad because this country should be switching to diesel in all our cars/trucks. Just look at what has happened in Europe. All their diesel powered cars are getting 50+ mpg.

plus on top of the potential better mileage (but we both agree the EPA will choke it down more), there is a vast market of acutal biofuels that WORK unlike this ethanol/gas garbage. so another option for reducing the foreign oil import too
