Yes very nice truck, and Rare too,,,,,gotta love the manual 4x4,,will always work when you need it,,,,and the 2 wheel low option is great for backing up trailers,,,,just need to get some miles on that 6-speed,get use to it,,,,I have heard that the 5.4 with a 6-speed behind it is a stout truck,,,,if I ever get another new truck,,,it will be a V-10, TS trans, w/manual 4x4 and 4:30's and Tow command is a must.,,Congrates on the new SuperDuty !
Nice truck. Bought mine off of the lot with the 5.4, auto. I've had four different Super Duties with the v-10, and one 07 with the 6.oh no , whats wrong this time. Was hesitant about buying the 5.4, but I did and it isn't so bad. Ran it easy for a couple hundred miles now I hammer it. 1000 miles on it now and it runs better each time I drive it. Getting 11 per gallon now. Hand calculated. It would look much better with those 4x4 stickers gone.
Best, CB
I'm liking the new ride even more now...
I disabled the belt minder and the "key in ignition" door chime.
Also, how accurate have you found the Message Center's "Average Fuel Economy" to be?
Granted, I've only got 200 miles on the odometer of mixed unloaded driving, and it says 11mpg. Do you find yours to be fairly accurate?
I'm not going to worry about it too much until there's at least 1000 miles on the odometer.
