This really really ticks me off (to put it PC), You should not have to be worrying about a job!

It's kind of sad really. All of us have these trucks in common and most all seem to be mechanically inclined. We all manage to survive and help out others when we can, and yet people running big business can't seem to find their head with both hands(being PC) I am a roofer out here in Southern California. Works slim to say the least. I read some of your guys posts and it makes me really want to pick up the family and move someplace GREEN! I just don't know if there is my kind of work other places.

Most of my work now involves dirt, which is the "I dig dirt" line in my signature.

But I also have a few other talents and certifications that mean I do what needs to be done.

Equipment operator of a long list of machines
Master Electrician
Master Plumber
Certification in computer networks from coax to fiber optic design and install
Certification from the National Concrete and Masonry Association for the design and construction of Masonry Systems.
Certification from Keystone Retaining Walls for the design and installation of their retaining wall systems.
Certification from Reward Walls to design and construct reinforced concrete structures.
Commercial, Residential and Electrical Contractor license for WV
And I draft what I build with Auto Cad so I know it will work before I build it and my materials estimates are correct.
I have training in hydraulics, welding, machine shop as well as leveling heavy industrial machinery and grouting it in place.

I do a lot of the layout work for our projects and make sure it is within spec as it is done.

So I wear many hats.

For fun, I build motors, computers and take pictures.
And last but not least I come here almost every night to share time with you guys.
So in a nut shell, I have a lot of fun.

Yes, Thanks for your service in the Armed Forces, I have a nephew in Afghanistan right now, he already did two tours in Iraq.
Where he is now worries me more than either of his Iraq tours did, and one of them was escorting supply convoys.

Were you ever in Qalat?

That is where Josh is.
My Sis just sent me a picture of the guys handing out supplies like clothes and food to the locals.

We have a user from Charleston in the WV chapter that is right beside the Pakistan border.
He watches the soldier over there watch him.
I guess they take pot shots at him every so often but he can't return fire.

I work at Radioshack, we sell stihl and cub cadet too. I'm the mechanic.
Get some weird looks from some people when the ask for the mechanic considering most of the stuff I work on older then me.
