Scott, I am currently running a set of LT265/75R16 Cooper Discoverer ATR on my '01 F150.
I have had them on for the last 3 years or so and have about 35k on them. They seem to be wearing very well and if I remember correctly, they are 60k mile tires. They are not overly loud for a AT tire and the ride is pretty smooth.

1973 f100. p235/60r15 Cooper Cobras. No noise mud and snow rated but seem to only be good when dry out. As soon as there is rain or snow they are terrible even with weight in the bed. I have maybe 8,000 miles or less on them and I will be getting rid of them the first chance I get.

88 Bronco plow truck 31x10.50 Toyo tires. Excellent in the snow. No highway noise.

Falken Ziex S/TZ LT285/75R16D, I've had them 6 Months, no highway noise, handle great in the snow, rain, and dry. I don't know about wear yet, but my mechanic had a set on his Lighting and got about 30K out of them with multiple burn-outs and he loved them.

The big plus was they were CHEAP....the Ex's vehicle label stated D rated and I tow 1/2 the vehicle capacity a dozen times a year so I opted for the D-ply instead of the E's. I also will only put about 6K a year so I think they will dry rot before they wear out, like my last set of tires.
